MIAMI, Fla. — An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 9-year-old boy who went missing in Miami after he was found dead, according to officials.

Officials said Alejandro Ripley, who was autistic, was last seen in the area of SW 158th Avenue and Kendall Drive wearing a blue Captain America shirt, black shorts and black Crocs.
Officials said Alejandro was abducted by two men driving a light blue sedan.
According to investigators, Alejandro’s mother noticed she was being followed by an unknown vehicle while she was driving in the area. The driver of the vehicle attempted to side-swipe her vehicle, forcing her onto SW 158th Avenue before blocking her in.
A male passenger then ambushed her, demanding drugs. After the woman said she didn’t have any drugs, the man then stole her cell phone and abducted Alejandro, according to investigators.
One of the men was said to be wearing all black clothing and a black bandana as a face mask. The man may also have cornrows in his hair, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
