A massive fire started Saturday morning in an industrial area at a port in Sussex.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a fire around 9:30 a.m. local time. Firefighters evacuated the building and at least 12 units were battling the massive blaze.
"The hard work continues at Newhaven - good progress has been made - we are likely to remain on scene for the rest of the afternoon," fire officials said on social media.

Officials recommended nearby residents avoid the area and keep their windows closed because of the acrid smoke.

There were no reports of injuries.
