ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — About 100 surfers gathered Saturday at a Florida beach to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
The “Solidarity in Surf” event on St. Augustine Beach was organized to raise awareness about racial and social injustice.
It is tied to the international “Solidarity in Surf” movement that held similar demonstrations across the world in the last week, including in Australia, California and Hawaii.
