WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — A Florida woman was killed Saturday when a test drive from a Nissan car dealership ended in a crash, authorities said.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Clifford Worme, 86, of Davenport was test-driving a 2023 Nissan Rogue from the Hill Nissan car dealership in Winter Haven with Jean Worme, 76, of Davenport, and a sales representative, WFLA-TV reported.
Clifford Worme was making a left turn into the dealership at about 5:42 p.m. EST when he drove into the path of a Nissan Murano heading westbound, WTSP-TV reported.

Jean Worme was killed as a result of the collision, according to WFLA. Clifford Worme suffered minor injuries, while the sales representative and the driver of the Nissan Murano were not hurt, the television station reported.
Jean Worme died at the scene, WTSP reported.
Everyone involved in the accident was wearing seatbelts, according to the television station.
The sheriff’s office said an investigation is ongoing.
