NEW YORK — This guy really knows his masks and now he’s telling you to wear one too.

Fictional big screen serial killer, Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th” series is featured in a public service announcement to remind people to wear facemasks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the “Today” show reported.

In the advertisement posted by Ogilvy Health, a New York marketing agency that works with the medical field, the hockey mask-wearing character said, “It’s not easy. The mask kind of makes people uncomfortable ... I’m just trying to fit in.”

As he goes through seeing the sights of New York, people understandably avoid him until a little girl gives him a medical-type mask.

The ad was produced as part of the state’s push to have its residents wear masks, saying it’s the best defense against COVID-19 until a vaccine has been developed, Screen Rant reported.
