Nick Cannon welcomes baby number 12

Model Alyssa Scott announced she gave birth to her third child, a little girl who she shares with Nick Cannon.

In an emotional video honoring her son Zen, who died in December 2021 from a brain tumor, Scott announced her daughter had arrived. “Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever,” Scott said in the video.

The new baby, named Halo Marie Cannon, was born on Dec. 14 and is Scott’s third child and Cannon’s 12th.

Cannon is father to twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey, as well as three children with DJ Abby De La Rosa, three children with former Miss Arizona USA Brittany Bell, a son with model Bre Tiesi and a daughter with photographer LaNisha Cole, Rolling Stone reported.

Scott and Cannon announced a new foundation in honor of Zen on what would have been his first birthday with the goal of ending pediatric cancer, Entertainment Tonight reported.

In a recent interview on “The Check-up with Dr. David Angus,” Cannon admitted that he feels guilty having so many children, saying, “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” Fox News reported.
