FT. MYERS, Fla. — A woman was arrested after using a gun to threaten two women she thought were trying to cut in line for gas, police said.
In a news release, the Fort Myers Police Department said they arrested Terri Lynn Johns after she pointed a gun at two women in a car. Police said Johns believed the women were trying to skip the line to get gas.
Investigators said the victims were trying to make a U-turn in congested traffic, WFLA reported.
“This is the behaviors that WILL NOT be tolerated at any time much less during this state of emergency,” police said in a Facebook post announcing the arrest.
Johns was charged with aggravated assault, and was released from the Lee County Jail on a $75,000 bond, according to online jail records.
