Children’s robes sold on Amazon are being recalled because they do not meet flammability standards, putting children at risk of burn injuries.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of the robes, which were made by HulovoX and sold on Amazon from January 2021 through May 2021. Approximately 3,500 robes were sold for about $30 each.
The long-sleeved robes are 100% micro polyester and were sold in sizes 3T through 12 and were available in 22 multicolored and tie-dyed patterns.
Anyone who purchased the robe is advised to take it away from children and stop using it immediately. Amazon will be reaching out to customers who bought the robes and will provide prepaid mailers so the robes can be returned for a refund. Customers can also contact HulovoX to request a prepaid mailer to return the robe for a refund.
