Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Saturday that he will meet with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in Kyiv on Sunday, The Associated Press reported.
Zelenskyy talked about the meeting during a news conference Saturday. He did not share details of the visit.
The White House declined to comment on Saturday, the AP reported.

Zelenskyy said the two Cabinet members would visit Ukraine’s capital to discuss “the military assistance we need,” The New York Times reported.
Pentagon officials said that Austin was scheduled to be in Germany next week to discuss Ukraine’s future needs, according to the newspaper.

Zelenskyy said during the news conference that he did not believe it was a “big secret” that Blinken and Austin “are coming to us tomorrow,” The Washington Post reported.
