PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A Pierce County family says someone hacked their living room’s Ring camera and used it to talk to their two dogs.

The family shared the video with KIRO 7’s Michael Spears.

In the video, the person tries to get the dogs’ attention, and you hear the person say, “Hi. Get up, get up. I got treats, get up. Hello.”

An invasion of privacy in the truest sense.

A Pierce County family told me someone hacked their living room Ring camera and used it to talk to their two dogs — here’s video of that person trying to get the dogs’ attention & offering them treats.
