CALDWELL COUNTY, Texas — A Texas woman is accused of fatally shooting her 82-year-old husband, authorities said.
Dena Katharine Harris Storch, 69, was charged with murder in the shooting death of Lothar Storch, KVUE reported.
In a news release, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office said Dena Storch confessed to the murder on Saturday.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies found Lothar Storch’s body at a residence in Tilmon, KEYE reported.
Deputies interviewed Dena Storch on Saturday and said they “were able to obtain a voluntary confession” from her, the sheriff’s office said in its news release.
Officials said there was no evidence that anyone else was involved in Lothar Storch’s death.
