SAN JOSE, Calif. — The San Jose Fire Department is catching some heat after a stunning video shared to social media appeared to show a bikini-clad woman exit the cab of one of the city’s fire trucks before entering a strip club.
The video also clearly shows the truck’s sirens in use and identifies the establishment entered as the Pink Poodle, KNTV reported.

“The Department has become aware of a concerning video posted on social media. An investigation will be initiated to determine facts surrounding the video.” pic.twitter.com/tSmUC8Q2VY
According to KTVU, the video was shared Thursday night, and the San Jose Fire Department immediately launched an internal investigation after the “concerning” video began circulating online.
“If findings of an internal investigation reveal inappropriate behavior of any department members, appropriate steps will be taken to address the matter,” San José Fire Chief Robert Sapien, Jr. said in a prepared statement, noting that all city employees agree to “adhere” to the city’s strict code of ethics as a condition of employment.
The firefighters’ union said it is aware of the situation and provided the following statement to KNTV: “This union does not condone what was seen on video. The fire department is handling and investigating. This does not represent values of San Jose firefighters Local 230.”
Meanwhile, Mayor Sam Liccardo told KTVU in an emailed statement that any inappropriate behavior discovered during the investigation will certainly warrant consequences.
“If the investigation concludes that this video is as bad as it looks, then heads must roll,” Liccardo wrote, adding, “We cannot have a life-critical emergency rescue apparatus relegated to a frat party bus nor tolerate any conduct that so demeans the heroic work of the rest of our SJFD team.”
