STAFFORD, Va. — A Virginia man is accused of drinking while waiting for his vehicle to get an oil change, resulting in his fourth DUI arrest in 10 years, authorities said.
Robert Watt, 59, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence, according to a news release from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy responded to a Valvoline Instant Oil Change business at 8:10 a.m. EDT on Thursday, WRIC-TV reported. Watt was observed in his vehicle with a bottle of alcohol, according to the television station.

Deputies said Watt had driven to the auto center for an oil change, according to the news release. According to an arrest report, the deputy noticed that Watt had glassy eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol, WRIC reported.
Watt was arrested and taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, where he is being held without bond, the sheriff’s office said in its release.
