CANTON, Ohio — Two former Jacksonville Jaguars players have been nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 25 Modern-Era Player Semifinalists for the Class of 2021.
Tony Boselli is nominated again this year. This is the sixth time the offensive lineman has made the semifinals.
Running back Fred Taylor also made the semifinal round. Also making the semifinal round are LeRoy Butler, who was a graduate of Lee High School and played his whole career with the Green Bay Packers, and Torry Holt, who played for the Jaguars during the 2009 season but spent the majority of his career with the St. Louis Rams.
From the group of 25 semifinalists, 15 finalists will be named in January.
Former Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith was among the 130 nominees announced in September.
