JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC, is coming back to town once again.
UFC President Dana White will bring UFC 273 to the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on April 9.
The main event is Alexander Volkanovski vs. “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jun, Mayor Lenny Curry shared on Twitter.

UFC made its debut in Jacksonville with UFC 249 during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, with three events on May 9, May 13 and May 16, 2020 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena with no fans inside the building.
In April 2021, UFC returned to Jacksonville with UFC 261, hosting one of the first major sporting events open to 100% capacity during the pandemic.
