If the Jaguars win the game, the team can snag its first AFC South title since 2017. Here’s the full letter the mayor wrote about the teal out:
“This Saturday, our very own Jacksonville Jaguars face off against the Tennessee Titans at TIAA Bank Field for a chance at the AFC South title and a trip to the NFL Playoffs.
“In support of our team and our city, I encourage all of DUUUVAL to paint our town teal and wear Jaguars gear tomorrow, January 6!
“Our support makes the difference. Whether at the Bank, supporting from a local business, or watching from home, make some noise and go all out for the biggest regular season game in franchise history!
“I am incredibly proud of the Jaguars and what this team means for our community. Let’s show up and show out this Saturday Night!
“Go Jags!
