St. Johns County, Fla. — The Action News Jax First Alert Weather team said an E-F0 tornado was in St. Johns County south of Mickler’s Landing around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A tornado watch was in effect for all of Southeast Georgia, as well as Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Nassau, St. Johns and Union counties in Northeast Florida.
The tornado caused tree damage with some minor damage to homes in spots in St. Johns County. There were no injuries reported.

Severe thunderstorms over southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle will track eastward this afternoon and early evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Damaging winds and a few tornadoes will continue to be possible in the stronger cells, NWS said.
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
